Henry has been a social worker since 1991. For over 30 years he has provided counseling for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. He is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in both Florida and Illinois, and currently serves as an Associate Professor in Social Work at Regis College.
Henry uses an integrative approach — drawing on psychodynamic theories to understand how the past impacts the present, and cognitive behavioral therapy to change patterns of behavior and thinking. One of his core messages: decrease judgments of self and others, and work to understand and accept who you are.
