What happens during the first session?

The first session is primarily about getting to know each other. I will discuss your background, what brings you to therapy, and what you hope to achieve. It's a low-pressure environment to establish trust and determine if we are a good fit for working together.

Do you accept my insurance?

I accept a variety of insurance panels including Aetna, BlueCross, Cigna, Medicare, UnitedHealthcare, ValueOptions, and Optum. If you don't see your provider listed, I can provide a superbill for out-of-network reimbursement, or you can opt for my private pay sliding scale.

How long does therapy take?

Therapy is a highly individualized process. Some clients find relief from specific issues within 8 to 12 sessions, while others benefit from longer-term support over several months or years. I will continually assess your progress together and adjust the timeline based on your evolving goals.

Are sessions online or in-person?

I offer flexible options to suit your lifestyle. You can choose to meet via my secure telehealth platform from the comfort of your home, or schedule in-person sessions at my office depending on availability.
